Give your leftover dosa batter a crunchy avatar! These dosa bondas are soft, mildly spiced, and pair beautifully with filter coffee.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Thaayar dosa batter (slightly thick)
  • 1 Tbsp rice flour
  • ¼ Tsp baking soda (optional for fluffiness)
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 Green chilli chopped
  • 1 Tsp cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions:

  • In a bowl, mix dosa batter with rice flour, soda, chopped onion, chilli, cumin, and salt.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Drop small spoonfuls of the mixture into hot oil.
  • Fry until puffed and golden brown.
  • Serve hot with coconut chutney.
