A power-packed South Indian meal. The rustic, protein-rich adai pairs beautifully with creamy vegetable avial for a hearty and traditional dish.

Ingredients:

  • Thaayar adai batter
  • 1 Cup mixed vegetables (carrot, beans, ash gourd)
  • ½ Cup grated coconut
  • 2 Green chillies
  • 1 Tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 Cup curd
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt and coconut oil

 

Instructions:

  • Cook vegetables with salt.
  • Grind coconut, green chilli, and cumin.
  • Mix with cooked vegetables and curd. Temper with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  • Make adai on a hot tawa and serve hot with avial.
